Your photographer

I’m so glad you’re here! While a majority of my life is centered around photography and capturing moments, I do this artwork because of my love for life itself — which means experiencing life itself. I swear a piece of my soul was broken off and given to my dog, Rudy Hays, as he is truly my reason for waking up every day. I love him more than any words could ever describe.

I was born and raised in beautiful Idaho, but I must have had a past life in or near the ocean because it calls to me every. single. day. The joy of it, the chaos, and the life it holds. It helps me understand the world and our existence, which is why when I have some down time, you’ll catch me booking my flight and racing to the ocean. Traveling has become an absolute essential part of my life.

My first experience out of the country and swimming in the ocean was also the first time I truly got to witness another culture, and I have never felt love like that. I was 21, adventuring around Thailand with a group of friends, and that is when I truly came to understand the meaning of sonder. That is when I fell deeply in love with the essence of human life and its experience.

Shortly after that adventure, I found my way to weddings, and MY FREAKING GOODNESS — there it was again. The beauty of sonder. And I was getting to document it for people for the rest of their lives. Everything connected and, well… now I’m here.

I’m a lover of love, a lover of the ocean, a lover of animals, and I am deeply in love with capturing the essence of a moment. It’s truly amazing.
